The Lonely Boy
Chapter one : The beginng
It was a Hot sunny day in Playa Linda Californa , perfect surfing wheather. Bradin Westerly a 17 year old with shaggy blonde hair and green eye's was walking down the beach with his wetsuit on and his surfboard in hand.
He had surf practice today. He walked over to his surfcoach Erika Spalding.
"Sorry Im late Erika , I kinda forgot today was practice." Bradin said smiling as he bit his bottom lip and scrated his head.
"Dont worry about it. Now get out there and show us what you got !" Erika said smileing and pushing him into the water.Bradin smiled and paddled out untill he caught a perfect wave.He was doing all the tricks that Jay had taught him.He got through landing a perfect turn and paddled back into the shore. He saw Jay come up and smiled . He saw that Jay had montioned for him to come over to him. He was with two other people.
"Bradin this is Robert and Sean . They need to talk to you." Jay said with an unhappy look on his face. Robert and Sean montioned for Bradin to come with them. Bradin followed them with a confused look on his face.
Chapter 2 : The new's
Bradin stopped as they had . "What's up guy's ?" Bradin said as he looked confused and stuck his surfboard in the sand.
"We have an offer for you . We have been watching you surf for the past month. You are a great suffer . " Robert said as he pulled out a peice of paper from his pocket.
Sean took the peice of paper from Robert and opend it up. He looked at Bradin.
"I dont know if you know this but there is a surf Tournament in Hawaiia. Only the best of the best get a form to fill out . We would like you to come to the surf tournament."
Chapter 3 : The answer
Bradin just looked at them in pure aw. He had never had something like this to happen to him. Well he had but not this, About a month ago Erika and him had been kissing and got caught . Erika was suspended as the coach but got the postiion back promising she would'nt do anything with the team membes of the surf team . So Bradin was left without a girlfriend.
"I would love to ! But I have to check with my coach , and Jay and Ava. "
"That's great ." Robert and Sean said together. Sean handed bradin the form and then a card that had their phone numbers on it.
"When you find out if you can go call us and we will pay for your trip and
everything.You have to have someone to come with you though." Robert said .
"That's no problem ." Bradin said. He figured he would just ask Jay to go with him.Jay still had not forgotten about what bradin had done.Bradin walked over to Jay.
"Jay im going to kill you ! You had a look on your face like something nad had happend !" Bradin said with a humongus smile on his face. " Would you come with me ? To Hawiia ? " BRadin said hoping he would say yes.
"Allright , But you know you have to get your Aunt's permisson first. "
"Yeah I know.This is great !" Bradin stuck the form in his pocket and went to change into some regular clothes . Once he got through with that he went over to Erika.
"Erika guess what ?!" He said litterly jumping up and down.
"Calm Down Bradin . What is it ?" Erika said putting her hands on his shoulders to keep him from jumping up and down.
"I got offered a spot to go to Hawaiia to take part in a surf tournamnet !, And if Aunt Ava says I can Jay is going with me ."
"That's great Kansas ! I hope she say's yes. You better get on home before you get in trouble though. I'll talk to you later.
Chapter 4 : Trying to get a YES.
Later on that day Bradin was on his skateboard skating home .He had been in heaven all day .He arrived at home jumped off his skateboard grabbed it up and ran inside.
"Where's Aunt Ava pumpkin head ?!" Bradin said talking to Nikki.He stopped as he saw her and Cameron sitting on the couch with their lips locked. He bit his lip and laughed.
"Sorry Guy's. For interupting you." Bradin said smiling. "Now where is she ?"
"With Johnny outback you but hole." Nikke said lookin at him with a aggarvated look in her face.
"Allright pumpkin head.' He said and ran outside.
"Aunt Ava !! I have some great news !" Bradin said as Jay walked in through the back gate.
"what is it Bradin ?" Ava said looking at him.
"I've been offered a spot to go to Hawiia for a surf Tournament. But it's during school,But I can get all my work before I go off and do it in my free time , I promise !"Bradin said despertlly wanting this spot.
"Allright , Who's going with you ?"
"I am " Jay said as he walked in and stood by Bradin. "they said they would pay for the trip and everything. He Leave's Friday. 3 more day's."
"Sure Bradin , But you have to promise me that you will behave."
"I promise Aunt ava ! thank you so much !" Bradin said smiling and kissing her. He handed her the form and a pen to fill in all the stuff. After she got through she handed it back to bradin and bradin went to call Robert And Sean. He dialed the number that was on the card .
"Hello ?" Robert answered.
"It's Bradin .I can go to Hawia."
"that's great Bradin.We allready have your ticket's and everything ready."
"OKay Thankyou so much !" Bradin Said goodbye and hung up the phone.
Chapter 5 : the trip
Bradin was happy that whole week . He was busy packing and getting his surfboard ready and everything else he had to do. He wa still working at the surf shop. He had went by the school to get all of his school work for a month. It was finally here . Friday . Bradin got up early that morning , mainliy because he could'nt sleep that night and then because his and Jay's plane left at 11:00 . He lugged all of his luggage down the stairs and into Ava's car. Everyone was going , Susshanha , Johnny , Nikki , Erika , Cameron because him and Nikki were going on a date after wards. Ava pulled up into the airport . Bradin was so excited , he was going to Hawiia ! Yeah Baby ! He thought to him self . Him and Jay got all of their luggage out .Bradin had his laptop with him so he would have something to do. they went inside the airport. they had about 15 mintues untill the plane left.
"Im going to miss you so much Bradin ! " His aunt said as she grabbed him and kissed him all over .
"Me to Aunt ava." Bradin smiled.
"Come here Kansas , your not leaving without me ! " She went over to him and took him into a hug. After wards she kissed him on his cheek in a friendly way. "Bye Erika."
Nikki , Cameron , Derrik , Sushhanha and Johnny said their goodbye's to bradin and jay.
Jay looked at the clock. "Bradin come on let's go ! were going to miss the flight !"
"Coming Coming. " Bradin turned around and walked after Jay. When he got to where his plane was loading he looked back at his family.he was going to miss them so much. With out another look back he walked onto the plane.

Bradin and Jay arrived in Hawiia the next day. They were in aw. Bradin went down to the beach to see his competiton. He was to compete later on that day about 3:00 . So he had an hour to go before it was his time. Bradin turned around , he saw a girl that looked like Erika but it was just his imagination. He was walking back to his hotel room when someone ran into him . It knocked him back on his back knockin the air out of him.
"Watch where your going !" Bradin said angerly getting up . He looked and saw that it was a girl about 17 his age . She had Black Hair with Blonde highlights in it, and she had blue eye's. She was alittle shorther than Bradin.
"Oh sorry , I was in a hurry.. " She looked up and saw Bradin she fell silent. it was love at first site.
Chapter 6 : Bradin's new lover.
"im sorry." Bradin said trying to start up a converstion. " IM Bradin , Bradin Westerly." He said helping the girl up.
" I know you..! Your the one everyone has been talking about , the one who surfs really good ! Im Kayla "e smiled ."So what are you doing here ?' She asked curious as to why a hott guy like him would be here.
"Oh im in the surf tournament.Kayla , that's a nice name . Do you live here ?" Bradin asked also curous why she was here being hot like she is.
"I live in L.A Californa . " She said smiling.
"for real ? I live in Playa linda californa ! Not far from LA , bout an hour." He smiled , he had finally met someone .
Chapter 7 : Meeting his new lover.
"Ah that's aswome ! " She smiled. She was fixing to ask him the same question he asked her.
"Kayla ? Are you single ? " Bradin said that faster than he wanted to .
"Yes I am , Would you like to go on a date ? "
"Yeah I would. But it will have to be after 4 tonite , Im up ." He said smiling.
"Ok , What about Paradise , it's on the boardwalk . say maybe around 5? " She said . She pullled out a pen and wrote her number on his hand. "If you have any problems finding it let me know." With that she walked off.without another word.
Bradin looked at his watch it was 3:00 . "Yikes !" Bradin ran and got his surfboard.
"Bradin Westerly is up ! He's from Playa Linda Californa and is on his Highschool surfteam !. The announcer said. Bradin smiled and paddled out. He was landing every trick that Jay and Erika had taught him . He was doing them perfectly . He looked up to see the score's . he need'ed 50 points to move on to the semi finales. 10 , 10 , 10 , 10 , 10 the judge's put up .
"Congratulation's to Bradin for moving on to the Semi Final's !"
Bradin smiled and paddled back in . "that was great Bradin ! Congratulation's !"
"thank's Jay." Bradin said as he stuck his bored in the sand.
"Who was that girl you were talking to ?" Jay asked looking at bradin.
"No one , just someone i bumped into."
Chapter 8 : Paradise
"Okay . Congratulation's again , I'll see you in the hotel later. " with that jay walked off.
Bradin went back to the hotel and put his surfboard against the wall and jumped in the shower. He put on some cacki short's and a green shirt. He put some gel in his hair to make it look messy. then he made his way down the stair's . It was 5 till 5;00 and Bradin walked in the door to the Paradise. He saw kayla and walked over to her .
"Hey Kayla , You look great !." He said , She had a blue silk dress on.
"So do you , But handsom. " Kayla said as she smiled.
Bradin and kayla orderd some food to eat.they talked about all their lives and stuff . When Bradin told Kayla about his parent's death she did'nt give him a pity bid , she just told him how she felt about it and made him feel really good. After they ate bradin payed and they went to the side of the building. Bradin started to kiss Kayla . He stoped when he heard someone cough.he looked over and saw.......
Chapter 9 : In trouble
Bradin looked and saw that it was Jay . "Bradin westerly you lied to me ! " Come on were going to the hotel.
"Wait a mintue Jay. this is kayla , this is the girl that i met today , we are boyfirned and girlfriend."
"I dont care who you are now come on !" Bradin kissed Kayla again and said goodbye and watched as Jay grabed his arm and pulled him to the hotel.
Chapter 10 : Getting yelled at.
Bradin walked in the hotel after Jay. "Bradin you know your aunt told you know dating while you were here !"
"I know...It's just that i like her." Bradin said looking down.
"Please dont tell her."
"Oh you can bet im telling her" he said in a angry voice .
"If you do I'll tell Erika about lisa , then let's see who else is it.." Bradin screwd up his eye's in concentration.
"Fine , But if i hear you told her anyway your in big trouble."
"allright." He smiled and went over to his bed and layed down .
Chapter 11: Semi Final's
It was 2 week's sence Bradin had met Kayla . They had been going on date's and everything else . Today was the Semi final's . Bradin had to get 100 points to get into the final's . If he did that he could defintly win the whole tournament. He was siting on the beach with Kayla watchin his tough competiton . He watched as one surfer screwd up and crashed . He was out of the Semi Final's . Bradin new if he screwd up one little time he would be out of them.He heard the announcer call his name and got up .
"Wish me luck " He said to Kayla kissing her . " Good luck ." Kayla said smiling . She rooted him on with all the other's.
Bradin ran out and caught a wave in a snap of a finger . he was doing better than he ever had , Again he done everytrick in the trade he knew , putting new things with them . then he done a trick that made his day. he looked at the judge's . YES ! He had got 110 point's the highest out of all of them . He was moving to the final's !.
Chapter 12 : going out again
Bradin had agreed to meet Kayla at the Surfshop . So he did .
"So where are we going ?" He asked curilosly .
"Somewhere." She said , she took his hand and led him up a mounting trail to see the sun set.
"Is'nt it beautiful ?" She said laying her head on his chest.
"Yeah , yeah it is." Bradin smiled and started to rub his hand through her hair. "Kayla ?" "Yes ?" i was thinking , Do you want to come back with me ?"
"I would love to Bradin .!" She smiled. "I have to go somewhere but i will be back in a few mintues." She said and grabbed her purse and left.
Bradin was looking around when he felt something hard collide with the side of his face.................
Chapter 13 : Getting beat to a pulp.
Bradin was knocked back . He looked and saw a boy who was about 20 .
"Why the hell did you do that man ?! " He asked getting up .
"You think you can come here and just take my girl ?! I dont think So ! Then take the trophy home ! Nah !" the guy continue to punch Bradin untill he saw Kayla come back . He ran off before she knew who had done that to Bradin.
Bradin tried to get up but his face was all bloody and his hair was all bloody .
Kayla walked back up with a picknick basket.She saw Bradin . "Bradin ! My gosh what happend !? " She asked him . But he did'nt reply. "Come on !"
She dug in her purse and call 911 "Hello ?" Yes , yes , . Is he unconusis ? "
